Bohinj Cycling Route
Hike to Triglav, the highest mountain in Slovenia. This is a "must-go" destination for every experienced hiker who travels to Slovenia. Very popular, mostly moderately difficult hike with some demanding parts with secured trails.

When to go?
Season to climb Triglav lasts from beginning of July (or when the snow melts) untill the middle of October (or before the snow comes). The best months are August and September.
What do you need?
You need hiking equipment, suitable for hiking in high mountains (good hiking shoes, clothes for extreme weather conditions, backpack with enough food and water). Some hiking equipment is available for rent at our Hotel Stare (for our guests only).
